Beginners Archery Camp

At the North Wood archery camp we teach our students the fundamentals of archery and we have a Level 3 archery coach who will be supervising the special archery activities. 3 days a week there will be shooting lessons for beginners and also an evening archery class for those archers who are more proficient at shooting bow. Archery techniques and safety will also be covered in great detail during your summer camp archery class. Our instructors will provide all of the archery gear and supplies that will be required. The camp is meant strictly target shooting and although previous years we did allow the use of broadhead arrows and recurve bows they are now strictly prohibited on the archery camp grounds. During the class each archer will be asked demonstrate their shooting skill to as a lesson in shooting under pressure and managing stability and balance while shooting. Upon completion of the classes the students will receive level one badges and the opportunity to enroll in the next series of archery classes.
